History
In 1986 Bruce Lundstrom and Timothy Dickson formed a partnership Lundstrom Dickson & Associates located in Watts Street Box Hill. Independently sharing this building was Christopher Barbanti who had already formed Barbanti & Co.
In 1987 Lundstrom Dickson & Associates employed Christine Edgley who remains ldbs’ longest serving employee. As the practice grew so did the staff numbers and office space became an issue. An opportunity arose in 1991 to purchase their own building in Ellingworth Parade Box Hill, so Lundstrom Dickson & Associates and Barbanti & Co moved to their new premises.
After five years sharing the same building it was decided to merge the practices and in 1996 the two became Lundstrom Dickson Barbanti Chartered Accountants. Due to their success and growth they had to move to larger premises at LDB Corporate Centre Albert Street Blackburn.
LDB Accountants & Advisors (formerly Lundstrom Dickson Barbanti) changed it’s name in 2006 when Michael Montgomerie and Craig Lutwyche became partners.
Divisions were created to better service the clients needs.
- LDB Financial Services commenced in 1993. Director in charge is Bruce Lundstrom.
- LDB Property Services commenced in 2001. Directors in charge are Timothy Dickson and Owen Day. In 2003 Helen Feeney commenced as the Residential Property Manager.
- LDB Superannuation Services commenced in 2005. Director in charge is Bruce Lundstrom.
- LDB Lending & Finance commenced in 2006. Director in charge is Craig Lutwyche.
- LDB Audit Services commenced in 2007. Director in charge is Craig Lutwyche.
