Adam James is a Chartered Accountant with over 14 years of experience, specialising in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs). Since joining LDB Group in February 2023, Adam has been a key member of the superannuation team, bringing his expertise in SMSFs to help clients navigate a complex financial landscape and meet their compliance obligations.

Adam’s daily responsibilities centre around supporting clients with a broad range of superannuation needs. He collaborates closely with LDB’s Accounting and Wealth teams to identify strategies and opportunities, offering guidance on pensions, contributions, estate planning, and tax minimisation. Known for his commitment to building trust and delivering a high-quality service, Adam values the long-term relationships he forms with clients, who rely on him to support their financial goals.

Adam’s journey into superannuation began after gaining early experience in public practice. He found his passion for SMSFs following a period of overseas travel, where he returned to pursue an opportunity in superannuation that proved to be a perfect fit. This niche field allows him to apply his in-depth understanding of investment strategies, offering clients insights into achieving sustainable financial growth over time.

A member of both Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the SMSF Association, Adam holds a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in accounting and finance. Outside of work, he enjoys the privilege of working alongside a talented, dedicated team in a fast-paced environment that matches his drive and commitment.
