Launching LDB’s 2027 graduate program recruitment campaign
For more than two decades, LDB’s Graduate Program has been a cornerstone of how we develop talent, strengthen our teams, and invest in the future of our profession. As we open our recruitment campaign for the 2027 Graduate Program, we’re excited to welcome the next generation of accountants who will grow with us, contribute fresh perspectives and help shape the future of LDB.
Why we run a graduate program
At LDB, our people are our greatest asset. Running a structured graduate program allows us to give emerging accountants meaningful, hands‑on experience while nurturing them in a positive, supportive environment from day one. Our vision is to partner with clients at every stage of their financial journey, while maintaining a culture of respect, collaboration and innovation. Bringing in graduates who develop into trusted professionals helps us deliver on that vision and build long‑term careers, not just fill short‑term roles.
Our program is intentionally holistic, practical and people‑focused. Graduates benefit from on‑the‑job learning, internal and external training, CA program support, secondments across our Superannuation and Wealth divisions, and exposure to a large and varied client base. Every graduate is guided by a senior mentor, supported by a buddy and overseen by a dedicated Graduate Coordinator.
Many of our former graduates have progressed into senior and leadership roles within the firm – a testament to the program’s success in developing well‑rounded Chartered Accountants.
What graduates say about LDB
Graduates consistently tell us that LDB feels different. On our website, they highlight that:
You’re valued, not just another face.
Graduates work directly with managers and partners and experience a friendly, collaborative culture where people work as one.
Real work from the start.
Our grads assist diverse clients, from ASX‑listed entities to start‑ups and international businesses, gaining real responsibility early in their careers.
Support that makes a difference.
They praise our CA program support (financial and study leave), mentoring, structured training and open‑door environment – all of which help them grow professionally and personally.
A culture that feels like home.
From free daily lunches to social events, charity initiatives and genuine care for work–life balance, graduates describe our workplace as supportive, modern and refreshingly human.
These reflections reinforce why our program continues to attract high‑calibre graduates seeking more than “just a job”.
